Temporary Traffic Changes as Building S Upgrades Begin

Improvements to Building S will begin next week. The projects will include:
- Roof restoration
- Replacement of all windows to improve energy efficiency, safety, and appearance
- Storefront replacement with added knee wall and stucco renovation
Starting next week, the window replacement will begin on the east side of the building. During this time, the RTS bus stop will be temporarily moved to the outer portion/parking lot side of the loop, and the bus loop will be reduced to one lane to allow space for the contractor's equipment. Cars will still be able to use the loop, but the bus staging will take up the ADA parking on the east side of the bus loop. ADA parking will still be available at the south end of the bus loop.
This traffic flow disruption is expected to last no more than two weeks.
