SF Softball: Saints Win Fifth in a Row

The Saints continued its dominant run on Thursday, sweeping a non-conference doubleheader against Florida State College at Jacksonville.
In the first game, SF鈥檚 pitching staff delivered a stellar performance, holding FSCJ hitless in a . The Saints wasted no time getting on the board, scoring four runs in the first inning. The offense quieted down until the fifth, when they tacked on three more runs to seal the win.
Game two saw the Saints surrender their first and only run of the day in the opening inning, but they quickly responded. SF鈥檚 bats came alive, driving in 12 unanswered runs to secure a dominant 12-1 win.
The 5-3 Saints look to keep their momentum going on Saturday when they face Tallahassee State College in another doubleheader.
