SF Softball: Saints Trade Wins with Ranked Eastern Florida

The Santa Fe Saints faced a tough test Thursday afternoon, hosting 20th-ranked Eastern Florida State College for a conference doubleheader in Gainesville. The teams traded wins in two very different games.
The first game was a defensive battle, with both teams struggling to generate offense. Eastern Florida broke the scoreless tie late, scoring two runs. The Saints had opportunities but couldn鈥檛 bring runners home, falling 2-0.
The second game told a different story. SF鈥檚 offense came alive, recording eight hits and scoring 10 runs in a . The game ended in the sixth inning due to the run rule.
The Saints hit the road on Saturday, March 1, for a doubleheader against Polk State College in Winter Haven.
