SF Softball: Saints Stay Hot with Eighth Straight Win

The Santa Fe Saints kept their momentum rolling on Thursday afternoon, in the first game of a scheduled doubleheader. The win marks SF鈥檚 eighth in a row.
FSCJ struck first, scoring a run in the second inning to take an early lead. However, the Saints responded quickly, putting up five runs between the third and fourth innings to take control. SF added one more run in the sixth for extra cushion, while their defense held FSCJ scoreless for the rest of the game.
The second game of the doubleheader was suspended due to weather and will not be completed.
The 8-3 Saints return to action at home on Saturday at 1 p.m. when they take on Tallahassee State College.
