Merritt Takes Coaching Talents to the University of Toledo

Toledo, Ohio 鈥� SF鈥檚 Brett Merritt has been named the volunteer assistant baseball coach at the University of Toledo, skipper Cory Mee recently announced. Merritt brings five-plus years of coaching experience to the Rockets鈥� program, and he has mentored over 25 players who have been drafted. He will work with all aspects of the Toledo program, but his primary responsibility will be working with the outfielders.
鈥淚鈥檓 very excited to have Brett join our program,鈥� Mee said. 鈥淗e is a great addition to our staff. Brett is a very good teacher and has a great feel for the game. I look forward to seeing the impact he will have on our program as he begins to share his experience and knowledge with our players.鈥�
