The Santa Fe Saints wasted no time jumping ahead in their conference opener against State College of Florida, putting together a powerful offensive performance to secure a on Thursday.

SF exploded for nine runs in the first inning, sending eight batters to the plate before the visitors could record a single out. The early outburst gave the Saints a commanding 9-0 lead heading into the third.
