The Santa Fe Saints made an impact in Tampa, shutting out Hillsborough Community College in a on Tuesday. The Saints didn鈥檛 just win鈥攖hey overwhelmed their opponent, racking up a total of 25 runs while allowing none across two games.

In the first game, the Saints exploded for eight runs in the third inning, putting the game out of reach early. The team wrapped things up in just five innings with an 11-0 win.

The second game brought more of the same. SF jumped ahead with five runs in the first inning and never looked back. By the second, the lead had grown to 8-0. The Saints kept the pressure on and finished with a 14-0 victory.

SF鈥檚 pitchers were nearly untouchable, giving up only five hits over 10 innings. The defense held strong, and the offense did more than enough to keep the games out of reach.

The 26-18 Saints return to action at home this Saturday for another doubleheader, this time against Florida Southwestern State College. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
