SF Softball: Saints Battle #1 FSW in Close Games

The Santa Fe Saints traveled to Fort Myers on Saturday to face off against the nation鈥檚 top-ranked team, the Florida Southwestern State College Buccaneers. Despite two hard-fought games, the Saints came up just short, losing both matchups by narrow margins.
In the first game, the Saints lost , and in the second, they fell 3-0. The Saints, who are currently receiving votes in the national rankings, held their ground against a team that has been dominant all season.
With the losses, the Saints鈥� season record now stands at 15-12, and they are 5-7 in the competitive Citrus Conference. The team is eager to regroup when they face St. Petersburg on Tuesday, March 11.
