SF Baseball: Saints Stumble as Sharks Surge in Third-Inning Feeding Frenzy

The Santa Fe Saints hit the road for a conference showdown against the Miami Dade Sharks but struggled to keep pace, falling in a seven-inning game on Thursday.
SF struck first, putting the initial runs on the board, but Miami Dade quickly took control. A dominant third inning saw the Sharks rack up five runs on six hits, shifting the momentum and giving them a 7-5 lead they never relinquished.
With two more games against the Sharks on the horizon, SF will look to tighten up their defense when they return to Gainesville for a doubleheader against Miami Dade on Saturday, March 8. The action begins at noon.
