SF Baseball: Saints and Sharks Split Doubleheader on Saturday

On a rainy Saturday in Gainesville, the Santa Fe Saints faced off against the Miami Dade College Sharks for the final games of their season series.
In the first game, the Saints fought hard, keeping the game close through most of it. However, Miami Dade pulled away in the top of the seventh inning, winning 14-7.
Game two started with the Sharks in the lead, but the Saints turned the tables in the seventh inning. With a big rally, they scored several key runs to , evening the day's results.
With the split, SF鈥檚 record stands at 12-14 for the season and 4-7 in the Citrus Conference. Their next challenge comes on March 11 when they travel to Palatka for a non-conference game against St. Johns River State College.
