To help support Spanish-speaking residents explore options and opportunities at Santa Fe College, the bi-annual Sigue Sona帽do open house event will be held Thursday, Oct. 24.
The open house is 6 p.m. at Blount Hall, 530 West University Avenue, in downtown Gainesville.
The open house is available to anyone interested in learning more about 青青草视频's programs, admissions process, transfer, and financial aid. Information is provided in English and Spanish.
As our community's Spanish-speaking population began to grow, 青青草视频 recognized the need for an event where prospective students could bring their families in an environment that was supportive and helpful. Event organizers said that often family members are not bilingual, so they wanted to make it easier for them to have their questions answered.
The event will feature presentations on admissions and financial aid. Participants also can visit tables staffed by various programs and services at the college, including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), International Student Services, and Career and Technical Education, which offers short career programs that lead to high paying jobs in areas like healthcare, information technology, graphic design, construction, biotechnology and many more.
There will be refreshments. Parking is free.
Sigue Sona帽do is offered each semester, alternating between Blount Hall and the college's main Northwest Campus.
