Ƶ’s annual dance showcase, “Elements of Style,” returns to the Jackson N. “We believe in providing a well-rounded education that helps students achieve their goals while broadening their understanding of dance,” SF Assistant Professor of Dance Melissa Brenner said. “Through collaboration with professional faculty, visiting artists, and their peers, students are immersed in a supportive, community-driven environment. During rehearsals, they explore the histories and cultures that have shaped various dance forms, gaining an appreciation for being part of the larger dance lineage. The skills developed in our program—confidence, discipline, critical thinking, and the ability to contribute responsibly to a community—are valuable in any career.”
Beyond their performances, students also work closely with professional technical theater staff and SF technical theater students, gaining hands-on experience in theatrical production.
Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for seniors, students, and military service members, and free for SF students, faculty, and staff with ID. They are available at the Fine Arts Hall Box Office at 352-395-4181 or online at .
