“Magic” the Miniature Therapy Horse Visits Ƶ

Magic, a nationally recognized miniature therapy horse, will visit Ƶ on Wednesday, March 26. Gentle Carousel, a non-profit organization that provides equine therapeutic services for hospitals, schools and emergency responders, will screen a brief documentary about their work in the Lyceum at 12:30. After the screening, students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to meet Magic in person.
Magic has become one of the world’s most recognized and beloved therapy horses, known for her work in hospitals, schools and disaster response efforts. She is particularly famous for her calming presence and has provided comfort to thousands of people, including children, veterans and those in trauma recovery.
One of her most notable accomplishments was being named one of Time Magazine's "Most Influential Animals." She has also been recognized for her contributions to therapy work during national tragedies such as 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, Sandy Hook, Pulse Nightclub and more.
