August 17, 2024 – Here's some ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ news you might have missed:

  • The Heritage Foods Symposium takes place Aug. 23: A day of free workshops and presentations will be held at the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Charles L. Blount Center, focusing on increasing access and expanding opportunities for small farms, farmers markets, gardens, and community education in Florida.
  • Everyone is invited to support the Saints Volleyball team on Aug. 23: Fans are encouraged to wear SF gear and enjoy complimentary food.
  • Guests aged 21 and over are invited to a special after-hours event at Brew at the Zoo: The event happens at the Santa Fe
  • College Teaching Zoo on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m.
  • College Fair 2024 will feature more than 50 colleges and universities: At this free event, you can meet with representatives, learn about different programs, get financial aid information and more.
  • The SF Achieve program seeks new mentors: Only full-time employees can serve as mentors.
  • ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ welcomes Kim Liechty as its new Bookstore Manager: Liechty succeeds Mary Jane Mahoney who retired in June.
  • Several SF offices will stay open evenings the week before and the first week of classes: Students may access the services provided by these offices in person, over the phone or using the various digital lobbies.
  • SF faculty and staff can schedule headshots: Pick a date and time from the list that works best.
  • The Professional Development Scholarship Fund is accepting applications until Aug. 19: Visit sfcollege.edu/hr/educational-opportunities/pdsf for more information.
