August 10, 2024 – Here's some ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ news you might have missed:

  • Several SF offices will stay open evenings the week before and the first week of classes: Students may access the services provided by these offices in person, over the phone or using the various digital lobbies.
  • SF faculty and staff can schedule headshots: Pick a date and time from the list that works best.
  • Students can now find their Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 financial aid awards in a new section of eSantaFe: Use the menu on the left to go to Finances > Financial Aid Portal.
  • The SF Teaching Zoo Zero Wasters shone in Plastic Free EcoChallenge: The team finished 11th out of 144 teams.
  • Harry Hooper, long-time SF professor, passed away: His distinguished career at Santa Fe College began in 1997 when he started teaching as an adjunct professor of Accounting.
  • Upgrades are being made to the fire alarm system on the Northwest Campus: As this work is done, everyone on campus should remain responsive when fire alarms sound and exit the building immediately.
  • Explore two worlds for the price of one at the SF Teaching Zoo and Kanapaha Gardens: From Aug. 1 to 18, both attractions can be explored for the price of one.
  • SF's annual convocation for faculty and staff is scheduled for Aug. 16: It will take place at the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall on the Northwest Campus.
