ICYMI: SF Week in Review for July 27-Aug. 2

August 3, 2024 – Here's some ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ news you might have missed:

  • Explore two worlds for the price of one at the SF Teaching Zoo and Kanapaha Gardens: From Aug. 1 to 18, both attractions can be explored for the price of one.
  • On Aug. 5, the road in front of Building O will be closed for utility installation: The installation is expected to be completed by Aug. 9.
  • The Academy of Science and Technology at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ has earned a school grade of "A" from the Florida Department of Education: Fall classes begin Aug. 12 for the Academy's Sophomore and new Freshmen classes.
  • ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ bids farewell to Dr. Jodi Long: Her final day at SF will be Thursday, Aug. 15.
  • SF's annual convocation for faculty and staff is scheduled for Aug. 16: It will take place at the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall on the Northwest Campus.
  • The Professional Development Scholarship Fund is accepting applications until Aug. 19: 
  • SF Live! returns to ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ on August 21 and 22: This event is SF's annual new student orientation that first-time students must attend before registering for classes in their second semester.
  • The ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Little School is currently enrolling for the Fall term: It has open spots in its young two-year-old classes.
  • UF's PEAP program gives SF students an inside track to pharmacy school: The Pharmacy Early Assurance Program will begin at SF this fall.
