SF Teams Place First and Third in Global Sustainability Competition

April 22, 2021 鈥� Out of a total of 27 teams, two 青青草视频 teams that competed in of the have been selected winners. Global Solutions is a virtual exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State though the , which is administered by the Aspen Institute. The program was started in the Fall of 2019 and has brought together over 2000 students from the United States, Jordan and Iraq. The binational teams that SF students participated in won first and third place.
The binational team led by Dr. Clay Smith allowed SF students in the B.S. in Accounting and B.A.S. in Organizational Management programs to collaborate with students at in Amman, Jordan. They proposed a spectacular project to optimize communication in the food supply chain and help reduce food waste around the world. You can learn more about their group's proposal . Students will receive $2000 to help develop their prototype further and find additional investors.
The binational team that worked with Dr. Vilma Fuentes allowed students in A.A., B.S. in Accounting, and B.A.S. in Organizational Management to work with automotive engineering students at in Amman, Jordan. They proposed developing electronic scooters made of recycled parts that can be charged in a solar-powered station.
