The recent American Rescue Plan Act temporarily allows more students to qualify for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funds to purchase food. SF Students may be eligible if they:
- have an of "0" on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
- are eligible for the federal work study program, whether they have a work study position, or not; or
- meet the criteria for student exemptions under standard SNAP guidelines.
