SAINTS FALL TO NW SHOALS, 74-67
Niceville, FL 鈥� The Santa Fe Saints (4-7) came out on the short end on Saturday afternoon against NW Shoals CC (AL), losing 74-67 despite 22 points from point guard Stephenie Coney and 13 from former high school teammate Stephanie Edwards.
The Saints turned the ball over only six times during the game, but failed to convert from the free throw line, missing 10 over the course of the contest.
鈥淚鈥檓 proud of our effort and how hard we played today, but we absolutely have to start making free throws,鈥� said SF coach Chanda Stebbins.
Santa Fe returns home on Friday when they host the Women鈥檚 Florida College Shootout on December 3 and 4.
