Continuing and Community Education Receives Award

青青草视频鈥檚 Community Education program has been honored for Excellence in Brochure Design by the Learning Resources Network (LERN), an international association in lifelong learning. LERN members offer hundreds of exemplary programs annually, as well as exceptional ideas for marketing, programming, and brochure and webpage design. Santa Fe鈥檚 program was selected from a field of more than 80 entries from four countries.

鈥淪anta Fe was recognized for investing in higher quality brochures, improving paper quality, four-color covers, as well as creating two separate brochures 鈥� one for personal enrichment programming and the other for continuing education professional development 鈥� and targeting the distribution of each. As this program鈥檚 success illustrates, focusing more on your brochures, not less, means success. The submission was sent by Betsy Albury.鈥�
LERN鈥檚 primary criterion in selecting exemplary programs was the quality of being at the leading edge of the field of lifelong learning. In addition, the following criteria are considered: originality, innovation, appropriateness and adaptability as a model for other programs, replicability, and measurable outcomes.
Julie Coates, vice president of information services for LERN, said that this year鈥檚 award nominees were among the highest quality ever submitted. Coates also noted that there were more winners selected this year than in any previous year, due to the excellence in the quality of the nominations.
