According to the Feburary 1999 Holstein World, La-Foster Blackstar Lucy 607 - Not classified produced 6-03 365 3X 75,275 2.2% 1,738 2.8% 2,164. The U.S. Holstein Association later determined the record did not meet the requirements to make the record official. The cow was owned by Terry and Sarah Foster of Cleveland, North Carolina.

CityEdge Commotion Excel *TL - VG-87 completed a record of 4-01 365 3X 70,612 4.2% 2,963 3.1% 2,163. Excel was bred and developed by Bob Trampf and his son Rick in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The cow was sired by Zee-Cal Commotion-ET *BL. The Holstein World announced this as a new World Record in its December 1998 issue.
